Some moments in life deserve to be filmed. Perhaps your dog did something incredibly cute when asking for a reward. Perhaps you’ve finally perfected this impression of your favorite K-pop star. With the video sharing app KwaiNot only can you record these moments, you can share them with all of your friends.
Developed for Android smartphones, Kwai allows users to create short videos and slide shows. You can add fun effects like frames, fonts, and filters to your videos, and overlay your voice with lines from famous movies. Your videos can be shared on Kwai or on other social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.
But what if you don’t have an Android smartphone? Not everyone has a smartphone, and many smartphone users do not have enough space on their device to download new apps. Fortunately, you can run Kwai on your PC using the BlueStacks Android Emulator. This guide explains how to use BlueStacks to install Kwai for Windows, Kwai for Mac, or Kwai for PC.
Step 1: Install the BlueStacks Emulator
You can use an emulator like BlueStacks to run smartphone programs like Kwai on your computer. To download BlueStacks, visit the BlueStacks download page at www.bluestacks.com and click the “Download BlueStacks” button. Depending on your computer, the download button will suggest downloading the Mac or Windows version of BlueStacks.
After you’ve downloaded the BlueStacks installer, click to open it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the BlueStacks installation on your system.
Step 2: Sign in to Google Play
The BlueStacks emulator connects to the Google Play Store to make downloading Android apps on your PC or Mac as easy as possible. To access Google Play, find the Play Store icon on the BlueStacks home screen. If you haven’t already signed in during the installation process, sign in to your Google Account with a valid Gmail address and password. You can create a Google Account on the Google website if you don’t already have one. BlueStacks also allows you to create a Google Account in BlueStacks yourself.
Step 3: Download Kwai for PC
Enter “Kwai” in the Google Play Store search box. When you see the Kwai app icon, click the word “Free” in the lower right corner of the icon. You will then see a green “Install” button. Click this button to download and install Kwai in the BlueStacks emulator. Make sure you agree to Kwai’s Terms and Conditions to begin the download.
Step 4: have fun with the app!
Once the Kwai app is downloaded, it can be accessed from the All Apps menu in BlueStacks. Click the icon to launch the Kwai app and play Kwai for Windows, Kwai for Mac, or Kwai for PC.
BlueStacks uses a unique technology called Layercake to make Android apps display and run as smoothly as possible, so you don’t have to worry about graphics or interface issues while using the emulator. Upload your own videos, watch your friends’ videos and enjoy connecting to your Kwai network.
